BTEC Foundation Diploma in Information Technology

About the course

This Foundation Diploma in Information Technology, studied in Years 12 and 13, is equivalent to one-and-a-half A Levels (180 credits). You will develop a solid base of IT knowledge, looking at areas such as the hardware and software that make up an IT system, how data are managed in business, IT communication, computational thinking skills and the principles of designing and developing computer programs.
