About the course

Studied in Years 12 and 13, this course provides detailed coverage of vehicle technology, with an emphasis on applying understanding and experience to real-life situations within the workplace. Course modules include health and safety, light vehicle maintenance, removing and refitting components, engine system principles, layout and operation of vehicle systems and the maintenance of wheels, tyres, steering and suspension systems. You may also get chance to be part of the motorsport team, preparing the College vehicles for competitions such as sprints and navigational rallies.
