About the course

This BTEC Level 3 National Foundation Diploma and Extended Diploma in Engineering is studied over two-years (Years 12 and 13) will provide 180 credits (equivalent to three A Levels). The course offers applied learning in a broad range of engineering areas. It develops your understanding of how scientific principles and practical knowledge can create products and systems that work safely and effectively.

Entry requirements

5 GCSE’s or equivalent including Maths and English

Assessment

The course includes a combination of internally- and externally-assessed units.
