About the course

Our Level 2 GCSE Business Studies award, taken in Years 10 and 11, allows you to gain valuable knowledge of how the business world works. You’ll explore various facets of the subject, including finance, communication, marketing, employment and the fundamentals of business structures.

Entry requirements

There are no entry requirements for starting this course.

Assessment

You will be assessed by sitting two examination papers in the summer of Year 11. Paper 1 assesses content from Business Activity, Marketing and Human Resources. Paper 2 assesses content from Operations, Finance and Influences on Business. Both papers include a mix of multiple choice, short, medium and extended questions. There is no coursework element to the grading of this GCSE course. Your grade will be awarded from 9-1 according to the OCR Linear system.
