Not only is Media Studies interesting and relevant, but it also equips you with valuable skills to help understand the world around you. This Level 2 GCSE invites you to explore the creative and practical aspects of a broad range of media. You can apply many of these skills to GCSE English too – Media Studies often find that the subject enhances their learning in English.

There are no entry requirements for starting this course.
You will be assessed through two written exam papers, each 1 hour and 30 minutes long, plus a controlled assessment. Your GCSE will be graded from 9-1, following the WJEC Linear scale.
