Tomorrow night, UTC Plymouth is attending a local event which is all about demonstrating IT in the local community. The Market Hall VIP event is showcasing the future digital hub for local businesses and organisations, and we are attending to event UTC Plymouth's IT & Communication systems and outputs.

The event hosted by RIO (Real Ideas Organisation) are revamping the Market Hall and turning into a ‘digital hub’ for businesses in Plymouth.
Below is the events description:

“The Market Hall is a stunning Grade II listed heritage building in Devonport, Plymouth. Styled along similar lines to Covent Garden, it was built in the 1850s as a market space for the then thriving town of Devonport. Now under the custodianship of the Real Ideas Organisation (RIO), the Market Hall is set to become a world-class digital creative hub in the heart of Plymouth for digital arts, research, education and the visitor economy.
The Market Hall aims to create an iconic focal point for digital in Plymouth and the surrounding area. Our current partners include Plymouth University through i-DAT; City College Plymouth; Devonport High School for Boys and leading local digital companies including Media Workshop; Highly Interactive and Mutant Labs. In addition, Plymouth College of Art and many others are keen to get involved.
When it opens in 2018, the Market Hall will offer workspace for digital businesses, creating a digital tech cluster; there will be events, conference, exhibition and experimentation space; learning space for children, young people, adults and those with a community, rather than professional interest; and a visitor offer, in the form of a 15m immersive dome cinema, the first of its kind in England, offering a host of excellent entertainment, education and business experiences. Situated 50m from Ocean’s Gate, the Market Hall will offer businesses in the Enterprise Zone new ways to communicate and make visible aspects of the extraordinary work they do.”
